The Humanities Research Center offers career development workshops and activities to graduate and undergraduate students in the humanities to help them plan for careers in academia and beyond.
The HRC is partnering with the Center for the Advancement of Students and Alumni (CASA), to create a new pipeline program that prepares students for doctoral programs in the humanities. The Humanities Inclusivity Program (HIP) provides talented, motivated undergraduate students with intellectual preparation and social experiences that will help them enter the next stage of their path as humanities scholars. Funded by $1.25 million grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the program seeks to contribute to the Mellon Foundation’s larger goal of diversifying the professoriate.
